A regime that engages in a long-term pattern of immense death & destruction to the benefit of its own wealth and power should give any decent person pause.
It’s genocide. Since we are pairing up with Nazis, you might be compelled to ask what’s the difference between Hitler’s regime and the United States? Answer: In substance? It’s a different world, but otherwise not much. Especially when you consider inveigle, beguile, obfuscate, and to be sure obscure. Consider the following

Don’t get bogged down by the fact that Hitler’s “showers” killed people relatively instantly and with a direct one order of separation compared with examples where America also used the tools at its disposal (both governmental and commercial) to slowly boil the frog or exploited there allegedly legally granted positions to enact social murder in part or whole over a period of time.
Proxy wars are merely military initiatives and both Hitler’s and America's military apparatus was flexible as circumstances warranted. Despite having one or more different paths of least resistance available to them the two regimes remained true to their singular shared goal. The world is different now that’s all.
