Big Oil’s inflation reduction act scam worked so well in Washington, California is going to give it a go.

And yes, they probably are fully aware that carbon capture is completely bogus but the point of it is not have the facility be dubbed “idle” because then they would have to spend money cleaning up toxins.
The big thing to bear in mind is that it doesn’t address feedback emissions which are raging exponentially and accounting for 85% of all new emissions. So,…why bother?! We’ve activated the planet’s own self destruct routine and are choosing to…ignore it’s dominance to our plight?!?!
You have to be one of the politicians who are well versed on the inner workings of the grift to understand what and why America does what it does. But one thing is for sure, money is at the heart of it, and our own politicians getting a piece of that money is a close second to that heart.
