California Governor Gavin Newsome is an environmental abomination and Biden’s Department of Energy is a criminal enterprise that should be charged with racketeering:
When your country is rigged in favor of the wealthy all factors of production are exploited, systems surrounding the management of these factors corrupted, and costs are fobbed off on to the people where ever possible. This is clear in the environment, energy and labor.
What needs to get more publicity is how energy contributes to concentrated wealth by lowering the overall basic cost of living faced by Labor thereby putting downward pressure on wage levels.
ALL business owners benefit when oil, gas, and nuclear do not have to recognize all the costs related to their product. The oil wars, environmental degradation, collapse of the biosphere (the people’s public health infrastructure), and all the other ways the assorted energy players fob off the costs related to their product help all rich. Sadly, leaving labor relatively impoverished and being the most ill equipped to cope with the very consequences (once or twice removed) of keeping their wages low.

The reason people died from not having power in the Buffalo storm is money in politics (eg utilities, etc) that prevented govt from facilitating each individual homeowner having their own independent power source in the form of solar or other renewable.

Pocan, Buttigieg, now Santos, etc.? No, I have to think the American gay community is better than it’s sordid underbelly that is currently undermining its acceptance by mainstream society
