And yes, they probably are fully aware that carbon capture is completely bogus but the point of it is not have the facility be dubbed “idle” because then they would have to spend money cleaning up toxins. The big thing to bear in mind is that it doesn’t address feedback ghg emissions which are raging exponentially and accounting for 85% of all new emissions. So,…why bother?! We’ve activated the planet’s own self destruct routine and are choosing to…ignore it’s dominance to our plight?!?! Lately, if you aren’t dropping acid you’re not going to understand anything that goes on in America.
