“There is nothing that will be more worthless, more expensive, more heavily subsidized, or more deregulated than that last barrel of oil. ~Terrence Daniels
We don’t have till 2050, #COP27 is a joke. If we are to survive this it will be despite our leaders not because of them”

"The other key and growing area of competition between America and China is in aid to poor and vulnerable countries to build resilience against the effects of climate change.
The resources available for this are however obviously severely limited by the vast sums being poured into the U.S. and Chinese militaries as part of the intensifying cold war between them. In the case of the United States, the military budget swallows almost 20 times the sums devoted to international aid — far more if additional costs like support for veterans are included. China’s withdrawal from co-operation with Washington over climate change in retaliation for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan also underlines the extreme difficulty of trying to work together in one field while pursuing extreme hostility in others."
“Grim outlook on global warming emerges from UN conference
Necessary carbon reduction targets will not be met; the US and China will have to work together to prevent further damage.”

“I absolutely support this activist.
What frustrated me watching this clip on Sky TV was the news presenter’s inability to understand and hear that people around the world are being inconvenienced and affected by climate change, and moreover dying from the affects of high temperatures, flooding, and wildfires.
Yes, many people may have been inconvenienced by the activists blocking parts of the M25 Motorway but that’s nothing compared to what people and animals are experiencing by global climate change.
How do we answer all of the animals in the Australian wildfires that perished in 2020, and the many homes lost, and the people who died due to those wildfires?
What about the people who died and lost their homes in Pakistan this year due to flooding?
What about the islands in the Pacific Ocean that are submerging due to sea-level rises brought on by glacier and ice-sheets melting?
A few inconvenienced people in the UK should perhaps begin looking at the bigger picture.”

“'Stop shouting at me': Just Stop Oil activist clashes with Sky News presenter
A Sky News interview with a Just Stop Oil activist turned firey when the protester and host clashed in a heated debate.
“The media has failed to make political change ...If you were doing your job properly everyone would be out on the streets,” Indigo Rumbelow sternly said to Mark Austin.
As the discussion became more intense, Ms Rumbelow asked Mr Austin if he has children, and later if he loved those children “more than fossil fuels.”
“Indigo, please,” the host interjected, before later asking her to “stop shouting” at him.

“The Bottom Line on Banks
Financial institutions have made big climate pledges. But they’ve also found reasons and ways to pass the buck, continuing to funnel money toward fossil fuels. Here’s why.

“STILL YOU WILL SEE THE PENTAGON PUSHING FOR A VASTLY INCREASED MILITARY BUDGET TO ATTACK CHINA.
"Intensifying extreme weather events are among the most serious and wide-ranging threats to American life. In addition to the raw destruction they cause to human life and property, they also pose growing dangers to people's health, food and water supplies and the national economy."
"The draft report places a new emphasis on the unequal burden of climate change, with low-income communities often being ill-prepared to deal with the impacts of a warming world after decades of under investment in critical infrastructure. Homes with aging insulation are less prepared to deal with rising energy prices resulting from climate change. Low-income and minority" communities often have less tree cover, more pavement and higher levels of air pollution, making them more vulnerable to extreme heat and susceptible to adverse health impacts, the report found.
The focus on equity reflects a new push on the part of the climate science community to bridge physical and social sciences and better understand how people experience a warming world, said Paul Ullrich, a University of California, Davis, professor who contributed to the report.”

The effects of climate change in the U.S. are steadily worsening and disproportionately affect the most vulnerable residents, a draft report of the next National Climate Assessment finds”

We saw it with COVID. ‘Social Murder’ was more relevant than ever. Now reports of using climate to euthanize the nonrich and continuing humanity with genetically superior youth are in the news as billions flow to a NAZI aligned regime in Ukraine. It’s a slope you don’t want to slip on.
