Something that I feel Washington’s “Inflation Reduction Act” fails to do adequately. Methane from feedback is a major issue that the Act should have specifically addressed but didn’t because it is linked to Oil and Gas development. I would also argue that give Washington’s intentions and other policies to date (eg passing an $850 bn defense bill) America be lucky to net out ahead of the climate collapse during the Biden regime:
“Reducing Methane Emissions is one of the most effective ways to avoid climate disaster”

“Study suggests UK underestimates its methane emissions from oil and gas production; other countries probably do as well”

A repeat of the state’s Great Flood of 1861-62 could cause over $1 trillion in damage.”

“Protest isn't terrorism
Rhetorical escalation can be deadly”

Special interests before common sense, cheaper, cleaner, renewable resources. This is how money in politics suppresses the economic and all-around social performance of a nation:

The historic move is a step on the long path ahead for nuclear power.”

“We May Not Actually Need All That Lithium
New research shows how simple policies like improving public transit and urban walkability can significantly reduce demand for problematic materials.”

Don’t expect democrats to save ya:

“Under the ‘Fair Tax,’ the poorest fifth of Americans would pay roughly 70 percent of their income in taxes.”
